1935 in science

Well hello there! Let me tell you all about 1935 in science.

1935 was a year where a lot of important things happened in the world of science! Here are some of the most interesting ones:

1. Sir James Chadwick discovered something called the "neutron". You see, atoms are made up of a bunch of tiny particles called protons and neutrons. Until 1935, scientists thought that atoms only had protons. But Chadwick figured out that there was another particle in there called a neutron!

2. Two scientists named Irene Joliot-Curie and Frédéric Joliot discovered that you could actually make new, different kinds of atoms by bombarding them with something called "alpha particles". This was a really big deal, because it showed that atoms could be changed by humans!

3. A man named Pauli came up with something called the "Pauli Exclusion Principle". This is a really big idea, but basically what it means is that in any given atom, there can only be one electron in each energy level.

4. Finally, a scientist named Schrödinger came up with something called the "Schrödinger Equation". This is a really complicated idea, but it helps us understand how electrons move around inside atoms.

So there you have it! 1935 was a really important year in science, full of lots of big discoveries that would change the way we think about atoms and how they work.
