ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

5 nm process

5 nm process is the size of very tiny circuitry that can be found on certain computer chips. It is measured in nanometers, which is one billionth of a meter, or about the size of many viruses. To put it in simpler terms, it's very small! It's so small that it's only recently been possible to make circuit boards that are this small. This allows more components to fit onto the same size circuit board, which can make it much more powerful than a circuit board using larger components.
