ASCII stands for "American Standard Code for Information Interchange". It's a way of representing letters, numbers, and other characters (like punctuation marks and symbols) using numbers. For example, the letter "A" is represented by the number 65. ASCII makes it possible for computers to communicate with each other by understanding the same language.
