Abuse of power

Abuse of power means that someone in a position of authority - such as a parent, teacher, police officer, or politician - is using their power to treat people unfairly, or to do something wrong. For example, a teacher who gives an unfair grade to a student, or a boss who is mean to their employees, would be examples of abuse of power. In these cases, the person in charge is using their position to take advantage of the people who can't fight back. This isn't fair and it's wrong.
