Albert Fert

Albert Fert is a really smart person who discovered something very interesting about tiny little things called electrons. Imagine a bunch of tiny lego blocks that you could build with, but instead of blocks, they're really really small balls called electrons. These electrons can do some pretty cool things like move around and create electricity. But, Albert Fert discovered that sometimes, when two different materials are put together in a special way, the electrons act really differently than normal. They start to act like they're spinning in circles and they generate even more electricity! This discovery helped scientists create new and better kinds of electronics that we use every day, like computers and phones.
