Allegation

An allegation is when someone says that something happened, but nobody knows for sure if it actually did happen. It's like when you're playing a game with your friends, and someone says that you cheated, but your friends aren't sure if it's true or not. It's just a claim that something happened, but everyone needs to investigate and gather evidence before they can know for sure if it's true or not.
