American International Group

American International Group, or AIG, is an insurance company based in the United States. It provides insurance to help people have money if something bad happens, like if their house or business gets destroyed or they get into an accident. It is like a big savings account that can be used if something bad happens. AIG also helps make sure that banks and other businesses don't go bankrupt by helping to protect them if something bad happens.
