ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anonymous P2P

Anonymous P2P (peer-to-peer) is a way for people to connect to each other on the internet without anybody knowing who they are. It's like two friends getting together without anybody else in the room knowing who they are. P2P networks are popular because they are very fast and efficient. They allow people to share files and data without needing a central server to do it. When you use a P2P, your computer (“peer”) connects directly to other people's computers (“peers”) and they can exchange information. The information is kept secure because no one knows who the other person is!
