ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Arche

Archaeology is the study of the past by looking at things people left behind. Archaeologists use tools like shovels and trowels to carefully dig in the ground to find things like broken pieces of pottery, bones, and other objects that tell us about the people who lived there long ago. They also use radar and magnets to find things under the ground. Archaeologists work in museums and on archaeological digs to do research and share their discoveries with others.
