During World War II, Seyss-Inquart became an important person in charge of Austria, which is a country in Europe where he was from. He helped the Nazis take over Austria and he was in charge there for a while. He also helped the Nazis with some other bad things they did during the war.

After the war was over, Seyss-Inquart was put on trial for the things he did. He was found guilty of doing bad things and he was sentenced to death. He was executed in 1946.

Today, most people think that Seyss-Inquart was a very bad person because of the things he did during the war. It's important to learn about him so that we can remember the bad things that happened in the past and make sure that they never happen again.
