Artificial Intelligence (AI) is like a robot that can think for itself. It is a computer program that can learn about its surroundings, analyze data, and even make decisions. For example, if you have a self-driving car, the car is using AI to make decisions like when and how to turn, and when to break. AI can also be helpful when doing simple things like playing games, recognizing faces, and understanding speech. AI helps computers learn how to do things that people used to do.
