As a service

As a service means that someone or something provides a service to you. For example, if you need help with something, you might hire someone to do the work for you. This person would be providing a service to you. The service could be anything from fixing your computer, to helping you paint a room, to driving you in a car. When you hire someone to do a service for you, you are paying for that service.
