Asteroid mining

Asteroid mining is like going treasure hunting in outer space. Astronauts, and maybe robots, go searching for asteroids (like a huge rock) that have valuable resources on them. They then fly up and get the resources off the asteroid - this is the mining part. The resources from the asteroid could be things like gold, platinum, iron ore, and other minerals. These minerals can help us build things here on Earth.
