ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Battalion Park

Battalion Park is a special place where people can go to see large stones that are shaped like soldiers standing in a straight line. These stones are called cairns and they were put there a long time ago to remember soldiers who fought in wars.

Each cairn has special words or markings on it to show which group of soldiers it represents. There are some cairns for soldiers who fought in World War I and some for soldiers who fought in World War II.

When people visit Battalion Park, they can walk around and look at the different cairns. They can also read the words on the cairns to learn more about the soldiers who they represent. It's a special place where we can remember and honor the brave soldiers who fought for our country.
