Blue roof

A blue roof is a type of roof that is painted blue. It's a way to help protect a building from the sun's heat and also collect rainwater. When the sun's heat hits the blue roof it bounces back some of the heat which helps keep the inside of the building cooler. When it rains, the water is collected from the roof and stored in a special tank so it can be used to water the garden or to flush toilets. This helps conserve precious water and also prevent flooding in cities.
