Bundesdatenschutzgesetz

The Bundesdatenschutzgesetz is a law in Germany that says that people have rights over the data (information) about themselves. This means that companies, government, and other organizations must ask permission before collecting or sharing any of our data. It also says that people have the right to see what data companies and organizations have about them and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted if it is wrong. So, the law helps us to make sure that our data is private and safe.
