COBOL

Cobol stands for Common Business-Oriented Language. It's a computer programming language designed to help people write instructions for a computer to do. These instructions tell the computer what to do when you type something into the keyboard, or when you click on something in a website. With Cobol, you can make the computer do anything from sending emails to tracking inventory in a store. The instructions are written in a special language made up of words and symbols. The Cobol language is one of the oldest computer programming languages still used today.
