ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Card throwing

Card throwing is when you throw playing cards like a frisbee or a boomerang. It involves holding the card properly and flicking your wrist in a particular way to make the card fly through the air.

To start, you need a standard 52-card deck. You hold the card with your thumb on one side and your middle and index fingers on the other side. The card should rest on your ring finger, and your pinky finger should be curled in. You then flick your wrist like you're cracking a whip, which causes the card to fly out of your hand.

Card throwing can be used for entertainment or as a trick shot. Some people can throw cards as far as 200 feet, which is like throwing a football field in length. Some people even make razor-sharp cards by filing the edges, which they can use to cut through objects like a watermelon or a piece of paper.

It's important to remember that card throwing should only be done in a safe and controlled environment, and you should never throw cards at people or animals.
