Carnivore (software)

Carnivore is a tool used by computer experts to help protect networks. It is like a digital police officer that can identify and stop bad people from stealing data, damaging devices, or spreading viruses. It does this by monitoring all of the traffic coming into and out of a network. It looks for keywords or patterns that are suspicious and then can block those people from ever entering the network again. That way, your information and devices stay safe.
