Cellular frequencies are the levels of wireless signals that your mobile phone uses to make and receive calls and use the internet. In the United States, all cell phones use one of two main frequencies: 800/1900 MHz or 850/1900/2100 MHz. 800/1900 MHz is an older frequency that is used mostly for calling and basic internet browsing. 850/1900/2100 MHz is a newer frequency that provides faster speeds for streaming music and videos.
