Child grooming

Child grooming is when an adult tries to connect with a child and build up trust. They might do this by complimenting them and giving them special attention. They might also give them special gifts and treats. Eventually, the adult might try and get the child to meet them or spend time alone with them. This can be dangerous because the adult might be trying to do something bad to the child. It could result in them being hurt or abused in some way.
