Citizen Cyberscience Centre

Citizen cyberscience is when ordinary people, just like you and me, help solve world problems using computers and the internet. People who work on these projects don’t always need to be experts in science or technology – they just need enthusiasm and willingness to help. For example, people might look at pictures of galaxies taken by powerful telescopes and help scientists decide which galaxies are different from other galaxies. Or they might help scientists map out the location of plants and animals in the wild. Citizen cyberscience is a way for people to get involved with science, while learning something new and helping to solve global problems.
