ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Close-up magic

Close-up magic is like when a magician does magic tricks right in front of you, instead of on a big stage like you might see on TV. You can see everything the magician is doing up close with your own eyes, and sometimes even touch the things they're using.

The magician might use cards, coins, balls, or other small objects to do their magic. They might make things disappear, change colors, or move around in ways that don't seem possible. Sometimes, they might even ask you to help with the magic by holding something or picking a card!

One of the coolest things about close-up magic is that it's usually just for a small group of people at a time. That means you get to experience the magic up close and personal, and it feels like the magician is doing the trick just for you! So if you ever get the chance to see some close-up magic, remember to keep your eyes open and your mind ready for some amazing surprises.
