Clothes horse

A clothes horse is a kind of stand that people use to dry and hang their clothes on. It's kind of like a mini-wardrobe for your wet clothes!

Imagine you've just washed your favorite shirt, but it's too wet to put in the dryer or wear right away. You could hang it up on a clothes horse instead. A clothes horse has two or more legs that hold it up off the ground, and a crossbar at the top where you can hang your clothes.

When you put your wet clothes on the clothes horse, they start to dry out. That's because the air around them can circulate more easily than if you just left them in a pile. Eventually, your clothes will be dry and ready to wear again - and you didn't even have to use the dryer!

Some clothes horses can fold up when you're not using them, so you can put them away in a closet or under a bed. Others might stay out all the time, like in a laundry room. But either way, clothes horses are a handy tool for anyone who wants to keep their clothes clean, dry, and in good condition!
