Code-Division Multiple Access

Code-division multiple access (CDMA) is a way to send information over a computer or radio. Instead of sending one big signal, CDMA breaks the information down into many small pieces and sends them all at the same time. This makes sure that the important stuff gets through, even if some of the pieces get lost. People can use CDMA to call each other or send text messages. It's like putting lots of letters in the mail all at once!
