Consequential damages

Consequential damages are a type of damage that you can suffer because of something bad that happened. It means that you don't just lose the thing that was hurt— you can also lose money, time, or other kinds of resources because of the bad thing. These kinds of losses are called "consequential damages." For example, if your bike gets stolen, the "consequential damage" is that you can no longer ride it to school or work, and you may have to spend money to buy a new one.
