ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Conventional memory

Conventional memory is a type of computer memory that can be used to store information, like things you need to remember like your name, address, phone number and important dates. It is also used to store computer programs, like games and apps. Conventional memory is made up of small chips that store information in tiny electrical circuits, kind of like a small library with lots of tiny books. The chips work like a magic box that remembers everything that you tell it to remember.
