Country code top-level domain

A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is the part of a website address that comes after the last dot. For example, in the address "www.example.com", the ".com" is the top-level domain.

A ccTLD is a special kind of top-level domain that is specific to a certain country. For example, if you wanted to create a website for a business based in Ireland, you might use ".ie" as the ccTLD. This would let people know that the website is associated with Ireland.
