Court Jew

Okay kiddo, so basically a long time ago, kings and important people would have someone who worked for them called a "court jew." The court jew was in charge of taking care of all the valuable and expensive things that the king had, like gold, jewels, and fancy clothes. They would also help the king with money and finances, like lending him money when he needed it. Being a court jew was a very important job because they had access to things that other people didn't, but it was also a very dangerous job because if they made a mistake or lost something valuable, they could get in big trouble.
