ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Court piece

Okay kiddo, let's talk about a game called Court Piece. It's a card game that's popular in some parts of the world.

Here's how it works. First, you need four people to play. Each player gets 13 cards. The goal of the game is to win tricks, which means playing the highest card in a round.

Now, there's a special card that's called the trump card. This card beats all the other cards in the game. At the beginning of the game, the dealer chooses a trump card at random.

Once the trump is chosen, the game begins. One player plays a card, and the next player has to play a card that's either the same suit or the trump. If they can't, they can play any card they want.

When all four players have played a card, whoever played the highest card wins the trick. They get to take all those cards and keep them in a pile. Then the next round starts.

The game continues like this until all the tricks have been played. The winner is the person with the most tricks.

Now, there's one special thing about Court Piece. If one player wins all 13 tricks, it's called a Court Piece, and they win the game automatically. Pretty neat, huh?

So, that's how you play Court Piece. It's a game of strategy and luck, and it can be a lot of fun to play with your friends and family.
