ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

DNA condensation

DNA condensation is kind of like when your mom makes a huge pile of blankets and pillows and she squishes them down really tight. DNA condensation is when your body squeezes the DNA inside a cell in a similar way, but with proteins instead of blankets and pillows. The proteins are strong enough to make the DNA into a small and tight group (as opposed to being spread out), which helps it to fit inside the cell!
