Daily editor log

A daily editor log is like a diary that an editor keeps to remember what they did each day. Just like how you might write about the cool things you did or learned at school, an editor writes down the interesting or important things they did while working on a project.

They might write about the stories they edited, the people they talked to, or the changes they made to a document. This helps them keep track of their progress and also helps them remember what they've done in case they need to go back and check something later.

Think about it like this: if you were playing a game and you forgot where you left off, you might have to start over from the beginning. But if you wrote down what you did each time you played, you could always go back and pick up where you left off. That's what an editor's daily log is for - to help them remember what they did so they can keep moving forward without having to start over.
