ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Debt of Honor

Okay kiddo, so let's say you borrowed toys from your friend and promised to give them back. That's kinda like borrowing money from someone, but instead of toys it's banks or other people who lend the money. Debt of honor means you made a promise to pay back that money you borrowed, just like you promised to give back your friend's toys. It's important to keep your promises and pay back the money you owe, otherwise it wouldn't be fair to the people who trusted you and lent you the money. That's why we call it a debt of honor, because it's important to honor your word and do what you said you would do.
