Degree of anonymity

Anonymity means that you can do something without anyone knowing who you are. Degree of anonymity means how much of your identity is hidden. A high degree of anonymity means that people don't know who you are, while a low degree of anonymity means that some or all of your identity is known. For example, if you are wearing a mask when you go out, that is a high degree of anonymity because no one can tell who you are. On the other hand, if you don't wear a mask, people may be able to recognize you.
