Democide

Democide is something bad that happens when a government kills a lot of its own people. It usually happens when governments are cruel and mean and want to control their citizens in bad ways. People who are killed might be disagreeing with the government or be part of a different group or race. It’s never okay for a government to kill its own citizens, and it has even been declared against the law by a lot of countries around the world.
