Dispersed knowledge is when information is spread out among a lot of different places. For example, if you wanted to learn about the state of California, the knowledge about it might be dispersed in books, websites, and people's experiences. That means that it might be hard to find it all in one place, and you might have to look in a lot of different places to find all the knowledge.
