ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

E (verification language)

e (sometimes written e³) is a computer programming language. It's used to help people check that something is correct or safe. For example, scientists, engineers and doctors might use it to make sure equipment they are using is safe and works properly. It’s like using a set of instructions to check things out like math problems. To use e, you write instructions that tell a computer what to do. Then the computer can follow those instructions and come up with a result that tells you if something is safe or true.
