Eating raw fish

Okay kiddo, so you know fish, right? Well, sometimes people like to eat it raw, which means they don't cook it first. They just cut it up into little pieces and eat it like that.

Now, when we eat raw fish, we have to be super careful. That's because some fish might have germs or little creatures living inside them that can make us sick. That's why we have to make sure the fish we eat is really fresh and clean.

Sometimes people like to eat raw fish with something called sushi rice. That's just rice that's been cooked and mixed with some vinegar and sugar to give it a nice flavor. It's then rolled up with the raw fish and some other tasty things like avocado or cucumber.

Other times, people like to eat raw fish in something called sashimi. That's just the raw fish by itself, sliced up and served with a little bit of soy sauce or wasabi (which is a spicy green paste).

Now, even though some people really love eating raw fish, it's important to remember that it's not for everyone. It's also important to make sure that the fish is clean and fresh, so if you ever want to try it, make sure you go to a good restaurant or ask your parents to buy some from a trusted fish market.
