Energy Security Act

Energy security is about making sure we always have access to safe, reliable, and affordable energy. The Energy Security Act is a law that was passed by Congress in the United States in 1975 to protect our energy supply from things like dangerous weather and political disruptions. It does this by setting standards for energy production, storage, and use. The Energy Security Act also helps us get energy from sources that don’t harm the environment, like solar and wind power. The law helps make sure our energy will be safe and reliable, so we always have the power we need.
