Environmental policy of the European Union

The European Union is a group of countries that work together to try to make the planet a better place. They do this by making laws and policies (rules) that each of the countries must obey. These rules are called Environmental Policy. They include things like limiting how much pollution people can put into the air and water, protecting endangered species and habitats, planting trees, and reducing waste. By following these rules, the countries of the European Union help make sure that the air and water stay clean, animals have homes to live in, and forests and other places remain beautiful.
