ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Equestrian nomad

An equestrian nomad is someone who travels around on a horse and doesn't stay in one place for too long. They move from one place to another looking for food, water and shelter for themselves and their horses. They usually live in tents or different types of temporary homes that are easy to transport.

They ride their horses across different types of terrain, like mountains, deserts and plains. They use horses for transportation, to carry their belongings and food supplies. They also use horses for hunting and for herding animals like sheep, goats or cows.

To survive, equestrian nomads must be knowledgeable about the land, the different types of plants and animals that they can eat, and how to find water in the desert. They also need to know how to take care of their horses, fixing their saddles and making sure they have enough food and water.

Equestrian nomads are found in different parts of the world, from Mongolia to Argentina. They keep their traditional way of life and maintain their culture and traditions. They have their own languages, food, music and clothing.

In summary, imagine you're playing cowboys and Indians with your friends but you're the cowboy who gets to travel all over with your trusty horse. You have to be really good at taking care of your horse and knowing where to find food, shelter, and water. And you get to wear cool cowboy hats!
