Exact differential equation

An exact differential equation is a special type of equation that involves taking derivatives of one or more functions. The equation is said to be “exact” if the derivatives can be combined in a specific way to give an equation that can be solved for the unknown function(s). In other words, an exact differential equation is an equation which can be solved easily. To solve it, you have to take the derivative of both sides of the equation and then rearrange to find the unknown functions.
