Funeral

When someone dies, we have a special event called a funeral to remember them and say goodbye. It's like a special party that helps us feel better when we are sad.

We put the person who died in a special box called a casket, and then we take them to a special place called a funeral home. There, we decorate the room with flowers and pictures of the person who died. We also have a special person called a funeral director who helps us with planning the funeral.

During the funeral, people will talk about the person who died, share stories about them, and pray for them. We might also sing songs and read poems.

After the funeral, we sometimes take the person who died to a cemetery, which is a special place where people are buried. We dig a hole in the ground and bury the person's casket there. We might also put a special marker on the grave to help us remember them.

It's okay to feel sad at a funeral, but we can also feel happy because we are remembering the person we loved.
