Geographic information retrieval

Geographic Information Retrieval is a way of using computers to help us find information about places in the world. It uses a combination of computers, maps, and data to locate places, cities, or other locations that you are interested in learning more about. By inputting certain information, computers can quickly and easily search through large geographical databases and help find information such as maps and other data related to the location.
