Harshad Mehta was a stock broker in India who made a lot of money trading stocks in the stock market. He had a lot of risky strategies that made him a lot of money, but unfortunately they also got him into trouble and he was arrested. He ended up going to jail because of his illegal activity in the stock market and lost all of his money. He is remembered as a cautionary tale of the risks of investing in the stock market.
