ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hindu idealism

Hindu idealism is a type of philosophy which believes that the world we see and experience isn't real, but is actually just one level of an infinite number of levels. It suggests that what we experience as reality is really just an illusion. It also says that we have souls (our true "selves") and that these souls are eternal and untouched by physical experiences. This means that our spiritual selves transcend physical reality.
