ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Holism

Holism is a way of looking at things to try to understand why they work the way they do. Holism is like looking at the big picture of something instead of just looking at the parts that make it up. It's like looking at the whole instead of just the pieces. Holism focuses on the idea that everything is connected and can affect everything else. So when you try to understand something, you need to look at the way it interacts with other things as well as what it is made of. This type of thinking is useful in many areas of life, from education to work.
