ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

IP aliasing

Ip aliasing is a way of having two or more from the same network device (like a computer or a router) use the same IP address, which is like an address for the computer to use when it is talking to other computers on the Internet. Each computer or router can be assigned a unique address, but when ip aliasing is used, multiple devices share the same address. This can make it easier for us to manage the devices, since we don't have to remember lots of different addresses.
