ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

ISO/IEC 9126

ISO/IEC 9126 is a set of standards that helps people to measure the quality of software (computer programs, apps, etc). It looks at six key qualities: functionality, usability, reliability, efficiency, maintainability and portability. For example, the standard might suggest testing how well a piece of software works, how easy it is to use, how often it breaks down, and how long it takes to complete tasks. By examining and following these standards, it helps us make sure that the software is high quality and able to satisfy people's needs.
