Impersonating a public servant

Impersonating a public servant means pretending to be someone who works for the government or who has authority to control or supervise others. This is a big no-no because it can be very dangerous and can cause a lot of problems. There are certain people who are authorized to wear uniforms, badges or other types of identification showing that they are government employees, police officers or other officials who have been given special authority. If you pretend to be one of these people and try to do things that only they are allowed to do, such as giving orders or making arrests, it is a serious crime that can get you into a lot of trouble. So, it's always best to be honest about who you are and not pretend to be someone you're not!
